This year Sesame Street turns 50! We are excited to join the festivities with an Anniversary Race in support of The Sesame Street Yellow Feather Fund, which brings educational programs to children both in the U.S. and around the world. In support of their work, we are donating $5 of each race registration to the Yellow Feather Fund. You will have the opportunity to make your own donation during the checkout process!

How this works
A virtual race is just like a traditional race but you can choose where you run! We'll mail your swag to you and then once you finish, we'll send your medal. All items are a la carte, so you can register for just the swag you care about.
When is the Race?
Race day is November 10, 2019 (Although you have the flexibility to do it when works best for you.)

Shirt/Bib Info & Deadlines
Register by October 21, 2019 and your shirt and/or bib will arrive around November 9.
Register after October 21 and your shirt and/or bib will not ship until late-November.
Everyone that registers for a shirt or bib will get it - regardless of whether you finish your race. However those that register for a medal will NOT get it until after they report their time & the race is over. All shirts have the same imprints.

Finisher Medal Info & Deadlines
This metal medal is about 5" and honors 5 Sesame Street characters in a modern yet retro style. Register now to ensure you get yours before we sell out!
Only those that register for a medal will get one, AND only if they report a finish time. Medals will start to ship shortly after the event, but only to those that report their time. The last day to report your finish time is December 9, 2019.
The official race day is as listed above. To maintain the spirit of traditional events, we believe a finisher medal should be earned by finishing the race. We verify that you finished by requiring that you report your time to your account. If you do not report, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A MEDAL.
As far as we’re concerned, race day is as listed above and we anticipate that most people will race then - BUT - the advantage of having a virtual race is you can do it when and where works best for you. So it’s up to you. Because we strive to honor the tradition of in-person races, you’ll receive messages as if that is race day for you, but just know that we’re okay with it if you need to do something different.
A portion of each registration will be given to the Yellow Feather Fund. You can increase your impact by donating even more on their site.
